If you have an interest in playing lacrosse but have never played before or if you are a freshman, this upcoming off-season will be dedicated to the fundamental skills of the game.
Skills to be covered: Basic rules, passing, catching, cradling, dodging, shooting, defending and Strength Conditioning.
The Off-Season Evening Workout Sessions.
- Tuesdays & Thursdays –
Weight Room:4pm-5:30pm; Field Workout: 6pm-7:30pm
Please bring your Field Equipment; Stick, Gloves, Pads, Helmet, Cleats
- Wednesdays –
Wall Ball: 4pm-5:30pm; Film Study Session: 6pm-7:00pm
Please bring your Stick and Gloves
There will be flex days & times due to Football Playoffs, Soccer & State or School Testing/Finals
While Off-Season Workouts are optional, it is highly recommended & encouraged for prospective players.
Every rep is critical and every opportunity to get stronger, faster or better is massively important.
Those opportunities will be scarce in February.
February is when the team learns to compete/beat other teams.
The season officially begins on Saturday February 15th.
Come ready to learn and work!
Please come in workout attire, t-shirt, shorts, socks and if possible cleats.
We have some loaner equipment for those waiting to purchase.
In order to tryout for the Varsity Lacrosse on February 15th, 2020 your physical form must be cleared with the school by Friday, February 7th, 2020.
You must also meet the School’s Student-Athlete Eligibility Standards.
If you do not complete physical clearance by the designated date, please note, you may attend practice and team meetings, but you cannot participate in field activities until you are cleared for full contact sports by the athletic department.
